These houseboat-meet tiny home creations each have their own wet slip and are just steps away from the Scorpion Bay Grill, General Store, and marina office.

• Rentals are 6 nights starting at $2,100, but from November 2024 through March 2025 Scorpion Bay has a special going for 4 days/3 nights, starting at $1,100.
• One and two-bedroom options available: The one bedroom accommodates four people and the two bedroom accommodates eight. The cabin also comes with a boat slip next to it.
• Boats, water toys and jet skis are also available for rental at the marina to enhance your floating cabin stay.

If you already have a boat, you can secure it just off the cabin’s deck; boat rentals are also available from the Scorpion Bay Marina. “The combination of a boat and the floating cabin allows the freedom to explore Lake Pleasant throughout the day, then settle into a well-appointed private space in the evening,” said Lovelady. 

Each cabin is designed to maximize your comfort and relaxation offering space to spread out and rest after a long day in the sun. The spacious decks have all the necessary amenities including a grill and patio seating. It’s the perfect vacation destination in one of Arizona’s most desirable locations. The kitchens are stocked with supplies, guests can simply bring their groceries to prepare their own meals within the floating cabin, or steps from culinary delights at Scorpion Bay Grill or grab-in-go snacks at the Marina General Store.
